[1] No equivalent entry on other lexica. The headword is the accusative singular of the feminine noun do/ca (cf. delta 1362, delta 1663, delta 1364, delta 1365, delta 1367). It must be extracted from somewhere; perhaps, though not demonstrably, the quotation which immediately follows.
[2] Quotation (transmitted, in Adler's view, via the Excerpta Constantini Porphyrogeniti) unidentifiable. Adler tentatively suggests Polybius (cf. next note) or Diodorus Siculus.
[3] Polybius 3.82.2 (Flaminius), using the participle of a verb related to the headword.
