Otherwise unattested in this form (and Adler notes no ms variants), but Hesychius has ai)su/fios, glossed as deino/s, yeudh/s, a)patew/n; see also Theognostus, Canones 16.6. In fact, as Dr. Nick Nicholas suggests to us, it may be a variant of, or mistake for, the epic word a)su/fhlos: see alpha 4292.
