[1] Likewise, according to Adler, in the Ambrosian Lexicon and cf. the scholia to Sophocles, Ajax 627, where the headword occurs. Also attested in Aeschylus (Agamemnon 121) and Euripides (Orestes 1395). See also Pausanias 9.29.6-9, and lambda 570.
[2] Greek Anthology 6.348.1-2 (Diodorus). The Suda mss actually omit the headword adjective from the quotation; Küster (Ludolf Küster, Westphalian classical scholar, 1670-1716) had to supply it.
