As no city called Antipetreia is otherwise attested, this is surely Antipatreia (sic), in southern Illyria (present-day Berati, Albania); Barrington Atlas map 49 grid B3. Polybius 5.108.2 mentions it as one of three cities of the Dassaretai captured (from Macedonian rule) by King Scerdilaidas of the Ardiaioi in 217 BCE.
