The present headword chould in theory be either second person singular imperative or third person singular indicative. The glossing (for which cf. Hesychius' entry on a)nw/gei, glossed with parakeleu/etai) indicates the latter ; and the headword itself is likely to be quoted from Homer (13 instances) or Aeschylus (2).
