Genitive singulars of the present participle of lale/w (cf. under lambda 76 for its meanings): the uncontracted Ionic form -- which would long have survived in archaizing poetry -- glossed by the later Attic form.
The headword must be quoted from somewhere (possibly Herodotus: Adler [addenda] points out that lale/ontos is an alternative to the fwneu=ntos which editors prefer in the oracle quoted at Herodotus 1.47.3); cf. in any event under kappa 2500.
