Aristophanes in Clouds [writes]: "and how, o you fool, smelling of the Kronia?"[1] That is, being full of antiquity and folly. Notes:
cf. kappa 2466. LSJ s.v. *kro/nios gloss *kroni/wn o)/zwn as "smelling of musty antiquity."
[1] Aristophanes, Clouds 398 (web address 1), with comment from the scholia there.
[2] Kronous is masculine accusative plural, and therefore quoted not from line 929 of the play but from elsewhere -- probably Wasps 1480 (web address 2); cf. the scholia there. See generally LSJ s.v. *kro/nos, II, and cf. s.v. *krono/lhros.
