CS 101 Introduction to Computers Spring 2022 Syllabus - Lab Test Makeup Policies

Every student is allowed one "Free Makeup" for a lab test. If you do not have documentation of an excused absence for a lab test AND you choose to use your "Free Makeup", you WILL be allowed to request a makeup exam for that lab test with no penalty.

If you do not have documentation of an excused absence for a lab test and you have used up your "Free Makeup", you will NOT be allowed to make the test up! You will get a zero score.

A Makeup means that you were physically absent from the test, NOT that you didn't like your score and want a REtake.

• This is a privilege every student has ONE time during the semester.
• It is not transferrable to another student. (You cannot give it to someone else.)
• It is only good on Lab Exams, not lecture tests, not attendance, not other projects or homework.
• If you have an excused absence, with documentation, you don't need to use the Free Makeup. Just arrange the makeup as usual by filling out the Request form.
