Topics to know for the Excel II Lab Test
You should know how to do these tasks. Not all of them will be
included on the test, but the test tasks will be chosen from this
list. All the tasks on the first Excel study list are also possible on
this test.
Note! the practice tests may NOT be comprehensive!
Check to see that you know how to do everything on the study list below and
the first study list for Excel.
- format the worksheet
- font sizes
- make a cell bold
- center a title across cells
- alignment of data in cells - left, right, centered
- spellcheck the contents of a sheet
- styles - date, currency, percent
- column widths
- view or print a sheet "with formulas"
- print out a sheet in Landscape mode or Portrait mode
- draw a chart
- 3-d charts
- titles, data labels, x-axis labels
- use the AutoSum function
- clear a cell, a range or the whole sheet
- use the IF function with numbers or strings as results
- how to record and replay a macro
- how to save a file with a macro in it
- how to insert and delete rows and columns

You do not have to know how to Goal Seek.
