CHECK-IN AND BOARDING REQUIREMENTS: Passengers not checked in
at least 30 minutes (except Atlanta, Denver, Tampa, Los Angel=
es, Washington D.C.-Dulles and Newark which require 45
minutes and Las Vegas which requires 60 minutes) and on-board=
at
least 15 minutes before scheduled departure time for domestic
flights; not checked in at least 60 minutes and on-board at l=
east
30 minutes before scheduled departure time for flights to/from
Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and all other International fl=
ights
may have their pre-assigned seat assignment and reserved space
canceled and will not be eligible for denied boarding
compensation. Boarding passes may be obtained at nwa.com chec=
k-in,
at a Northwest Airlines self-service check-in kiosk or any
Northwest check-in position.

BAGGAGE:
Domestic Coach Class baggage allowance - each ticketed passenger is allow=
ed one (1) piece of checked baggage for a fee of USD$15/CAD$15 each-way and=
a second piece of checked baggage for a fee of USD$25/CAD$25 each-way. A t=
hird piece of baggage will be assessed a fee of USD$125/CAD$125 each-way an=
d fourth through tenth checked bags will be charged USD$200/CAD$200 per bag=
each-way and subsequent pieces will be assessed a fee of USD$100/CAD$100 p=
er piece each-way. For tickets purchased prior to November 12, 2008, the Do=
mestic Coach Class baggage allowance is one (1) piece of checked baggage fo=
r a fee of USD$15/CAD$15 each-way and a second piece of checked baggage for=
a fee of USD$25/CAD$25 each-way. Third and subsequent pieces will be asses=
sed a fee of USD$100/CAD$100 per piece each-way. Domestic Coach Class passe=
ngers are also allowed one carry-on, plus a purse, brief case or laptop. F=
irst/World Business Class allows three pieces of checked baggage & one carr=
y-on plus a pur
se, brief case or laptop. Carry-on baggage must fit underneath the seat or=
in an overhead compartment & cannot exceed a total linear dimension (lengt=
h+width+height) of 45 inches. Maximum size per checked piece is 62 inches. =
The maximum weight allowance for Coach Class is 50 pounds per piece. First/=
World Business Class allowance is 70 pounds per piece. The fee for baggage =
weighing 51 - 70 pounds is USD$90/CAD$90 each-way and for baggage weighing =
71 . 100 pounds is USD$175/CAD$175 each-way for travel within the US, Canad=
a, Mexico & the Caribbean. Excess baggage charges for travel to internation=
al destinations vary. Contact Northwest for International excess baggage ch=
arges. Any baggage in excess of the allowance or that is overweight and/or =
oversize is subject to excess baggage charges.
Regulations require name identification on outside of baggage. Northwes=
t reserves the right to restrict carry-on baggage. Northwest will not be re=
sponsible for money, jewelry, cameras, video and electronic equipment, silv=
erware, negotiable papers, securities, business documents, samples, paintin=
gs, antiques, artifacts, manuscripts, furs, other irreplaceable items or it=
ems of similar value contained in checked or unchecked baggage. Liability f=
or loss, delay or damage to baggage is limited unless a higher value is dec=
lared in advance and additional charges are paid. For travel wholly between=
US points, baggage liability is limited to $3,300 per passenger. For most =
international travel (including domestic portions of international journeys=
), liability is limited to 1000 SDR.s (Special Drawing Rights) per passenge=
r, for checked baggage and unchecked baggage.
INTERNATIONAL TICKET EXPIRATION: Wholly unused tickets expire one year afte=
r the date of issue. Partially used tickets expire one year after date of f=
irst departure on ticket. Once any ticket expires, Northwest will retain th=
e fare collected from the passenger.

WORLDPERKS AWARD TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Travel with this ticket is permitted only on Northwest Airlines, Northwest =
designated partner airline flights or other WorldPerks airline partner flig=
hts. Travel is valid via routings where Northwest Airlines or participating=
partners publish a Coach Class fare. Stopovers not permitted within/betwee=
n the 48 U.S./Canada/Caribbean/Puerto Rico/Mexico. When the award itinerary=
is wholly unused, a change or redeposit must be made within one year after=
the first unflown flight departure date to maintain the validity of the ti=
cket. If the award itinerary is partially used, a change must be made withi=
n one year after the first unflown flight departure date to maintain the va=
lidity of the ticket. No redeposits can be made to partially used award iti=
neraries. If an award ticket for U.S. domestic travel becomes invalid, Nort=
hwest will retain all amounts collected from the passenger as an administra=
tive service charge/cancellation fee. (1) This ticket has no cash value and=
cannot be refu
nded. (2) Passengers will be responsible for paying all applicable taxes, =
fees and surcharges (including customs, inspection, security, agriculture a=

ADVICE TO INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS ON LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Passengers on=
a journey involving an ultimate destination or a stop in a
country other than the country of origin are advised that the provisions of=
a treaty known as the Warsaw Convention may be applicable to the entire jo=
urney,
including any portion entirely within the country of origin or destination.=
For such passengers on a journey to, from, or with an agreed stopping plac=

liability in Article 22 (1) of the Convention with regard to reasonable com=
pensatory damage claims arising under Article 17 of the Convention or avail

For passengers traveling by a carrier not a party to such special contracts=
or on a journey not to, from, or having an agreed stopping place in the
United States of America, liability of the carrier for death or personal in=
jury to passengers is limited in most cases to approximately U.S. $10,000 o=
r U.S. $20,000.
The names of carriers, parties to such special contracts, are available at =
all ticket offices of such carriers and may be examined upon request.
Additional protection can usually be obtained by purchasing insurance from =
a private company. Such insurance is not affected by any limitation of the
carrier's liability under the Warsaw Convention or such special contracts o=
