[1] As transmitted, the headword and the first three glosses are genitive plural adjectives (the last gloss,
eci/sou, is an adverb); this would mean that the headword is not drawn from the quotation given, since there we find the adjective in the singular as an internal or adverbial accusative. (Hence the last of the glosses would be most appropriate to the quotation.) Note, however, that in earlier lexica (references at
Photius pi269 Theodoridis) these forms are singulars. This does not prove that the headword is drawn from the quotation -- which the other lexica do not have -- but does at least make it possible.
