[1] Ephorus FGrH 70 F234. Stephanus of Byzantium s.v., from which the present entry derives, cites Theopompus (FGrH 115 F175) for "Nostia". If they are the same, which is by no means certain, the more usual name for the place mentioned by Ephorus was Nestane.
