[2] Procopius, Secret History 2.13 (web address 1), on Belisarius and his stepson (and adopted son) Photius. [NB: Adler spoils the sense by printing 'all' as nominative, not accusative.] Abbreviated at kappa 728. When he had learned that his wife Antonina was continuing an affair with his adopted son Theodosius, Belisarius (cf. beta 233) urged Photius (cf. alpha 1492 note) to join him in an oath of vengeance; cf. Kaldellis (11). On Antonina and Theodosius, see epsilon 671 note.
