Jonathan Geffner

Jonathan Geffner’s unique ventriloquial talents and skills have enthralled millions of people worldwide. He was the ventriloquist consultant for Tina Fey’s 2013 film, Admission. He wrote and produced the popular video series, Puppet Power, and is the author of the “dummy noir” mystery novel, While the Village Sleeps.

An avid Yiddishist with a BA in Yiddish Language and Literature from Queens College, CUNY, Jonathan has taught Yiddish classes in the USA and Hong Kong. He is delighted to have the opportunity to share two of his great passions – Yiddish and ventriloquism — in this performance of “Mishegas!” for the IAYC.
