Jane Peppler

Jane Peppler is a musician who has been performing Yiddish songs since the 1980s. Her world music band Mappamundi has been researching and performing music of Poland between the wars. Peppler has translated three novels and numerous articles from Yiddish into English under the supervision of Professor Sheva Zucker. Her Yiddish CDs are available, as are her songbooks and translations. She has studied Yiddish in Paris and North Carolina.
