Abraham Luski

Abraham Luski was born in Havana, Cuba in 1927. He studied yiddis at Centro Israelita de Cuba. He graduated from the Instituto de la Habana and studied political science at Havana University.

He married Rosa Sandberg and raised three children. He is the proud grandparent of ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He lives in Charlotte NC.

He is an active member of Temple Israel and the Charlotte Jewish Federation. He serves as Honorary President of the Charlotte Friends of Israel Sports Center for the Disabled in Ramat Gan, Israel. Abraham is amoung the founders of the Charlotte Yiddish Institute. He teaches Yiddish classes at Wildacres in Little Switzerland NC.
