D. Manivannan (Mani)

Dr. Manivannan received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, under Professor Mukesh Singhal, currently Chancellor's Professor at UC Merced. Dr. Manivannan is currently an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Kentucky. His research interest lies primarily in the following areas and at their intersection: Computer and network security, Fault-tolerance in Distributed systems, Cloud Computing, Mobile ad hoc networks, Vehicular ad hoc networks, and Cellular networks. Dr. Manivannan's diverse research group has published in respected journals in the above areas. Students graduated from his group are well placed both in academia and industry.
