Homework Assignments

This class has assignments which will be done outside of class every week. They involve a specific problem to solve and usually, a program to write.

This will be posted on the class web page several days before the due date. It is always an individual problem. This means that every student needs to complete it without help from other students. You ARE encouraged to get help from the instructor and any of the TAs.

This work will normally be submitted electronically via a Canvas link. Each homework assignment's work is officially due at the deadline given by the instructor. It will be due by midnight of a given day. If you don't get the work in by that time, but you DO get it in before 9 am the NEXT day, you can get up to half credit for that assignment. After 9 am, you get a zero.

If you have one of the excuses described in the syllabus, i.e., a serious illness, a death in the family, an academic or athletic trip sponsored by the University, then contact your instructor to see if an extension is possible. Excuses must be documented!
